Riding Mower No Start Craftsman 18 hp This riding lawn mower got so it would not crank over to start with the key The riding mower had a new battery in it that was installed after the no start became a issue I only tested the battery with a test light to see if there was any charge If you have a old battery you may want to test the battery better The ignition switch can go bad on riding lawn mowers But the easiest place to start seemed like the starter solenoid By testing at the starter solenoid on this craftsman riding mower i saw there was battery power to solenoid The white wire from ign switch had power with key in start position No power came out to starter on the wire going to starter On this riding lawn mower i was able to hit the starter solenoid with a screwdriver handle and make the riding lawn mower engine try to start This mower has a 18 hp Briggs engine but it is similar on most Riding mower repair lawnmower repair wtbm123
