Snowblower Troy built startup OHV problem won't start help

Issue with Tecumseh snowblower would backfire and not start gas checked fuel delivery ok carburetor ok spark plug ok finally found that the left side exhaust side valve was stuck open causing gas primed into engine to fire but then the combustion chamber would pull air in from the open exaust port valve air without fuel and not start Hope this helps could not find anything on youtube to help me solve this one would love a donation made to a www Parasavenj org a if this help
